President Obama Unveils American Jobs Act with Nearly $10 Billion for California Construction

President Obama unveiled the American Jobs Act before Congress on September 8th. The President’s plan includes more than $90 billion of construction funding, including $3.9 billion for California transportation projects, $2.8 billion for California school modernization projects, $1.8 billion to rehabilitate vacant and foreclosed homes in California, and up to $1.1 billion for California community college modernization projects.
