2012 Construction Forms Now Available Under “Toolbox”

As I mentioned earlier, California’s construction payment statutes, formerly found at California Civil Code sections 3081.1 et seq.,  will be repealed and recodified beginning July 1, 2012.  So, just as you have gotten used to all of your construction forms – preliminary notices, mechanic’s liens, stop notices, conditional and unconditional waivers and releases – you will have to get comfortable with a whole new set of forms in July.

I have created a “Toolbox” tab with new forms.  However, as with all legal forms, you will need to modify them for your particular situation, and should therefore consult with a professional.  But, you already knew that, right?
