On Celebrities, Turkey Chili and the San Francisco Soup Company
A lawyer’s idea of a celebrity often isn’t the same as others. Ask a lawyer who, in their wildest dreams, they would like to have lunch with, and they’re just as likely to say Abraham Lincoln or Ruth Bader Ginsburg as one of the Kardashian sisters.
Today, while at lunch, I met one of my legal celebrities – Richard Hsu – a partner at Shearman & Sterling where he practices in the areas of technology transactions and intellectual property matters:
When I was first starting my blog Richard caught my attention with his blog Hsu Tube, in which he explains complicated intellectual property concepts in a simple, straightforward manner through the creative use of video, with the help of his daughter, Maya. As a lawyer, blogger and father, myself, I think that’s pretty cool.
Plus, you never know when you might need to know a top-notch IP lawyer.
