Disrupting the Pink Aisle
Usually, you have to take the good with the bad.
That’s why it’s rare to find something that has everything you like, like Baby Ruth candy bars, for me.
Well, I think I just found another, which combines a number of my faves: the Beastie Boys, Rube Goldberg machines and engineering:
The start-up toy company, GoldieBlox, was founded by Stanford-educated engineer, Debbie Sterling, whose mission is “to disrupt the pink aisle” and “inspire the next generation of female engineers.”
As a father with a daughter, I think that’s quite cool.
